Start of the French Riviera Marathon des Alpes-Maritimes Nice-Cannes : 9th november, 2008 at 8.45 AM in Nice – Promenade des Anglais

> RUNNING EXPO OF START AND ARRIVAL

• The Running Expo… START AREA
The village Running Expo Marathon (2000 m²of exhibition) located in Nice, close to the famous Place Masséna will welcome the runners and their accompanists from tuesday 6th november from 2 PM to Saturday 8th november 7PM to pick up the bibs, the lockrooms bags and the goody bags.
Numerous stands around the race environment and numerous sponsors will be present to animate this first edition. Numerous surprises at the program.

• The Running Expo Marathon … FINISH AREA
Cannes which representing the arrival area of the French Riviera Marathon des Alpes-Maritimes Nice-Cannes will welcome all the finishers on its finisher area on the famous Croisette in front of the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès.

Start in Nice - Promenade des Anglais
Arrival in Cannes - Palais des Festivals et des Congrès

Crossed Cities :
Saint-Laurent-du-Var, Cagnes-sur-Mer, Villeneuve-loubet, Antibes Juan-Les-Pins, Vallauris Golfe-Juan.

> TICKETS TO PICK UP YOUR BIB
At the end of october, a ticket to pick up your bib will be send you by post only if your entry is considered as complete one (i.e. : registration form completed and medical certificate dated from less than one year by the D-Day).

> MEDICAL CERTIFICATE
The online inscription to the French Riviera Marathon des Alpes-Maritimes Nice-Cannes or the inscription by post is subordinated to the dispatch of a valid medical certificate dated from less than one year by the D-day and mentioning the noncontraindication to the practice of the race in competition.

> COLLECTION OF BIBS
All the runners could pick up their bibs with their identity card on the following days
Thursday, 6th november, 2008 – From 2 PM until 7 PM
Friday, 7th november, 2008 – From 10 AM until 7 PM
Saturday, 8th november, 2008 – From 9 AM until 7 PM

NB :
- For the runners who want their bibs picked up by another person, it will be obligatory to present a copy of their identity card and the ticket to pick up the bibs sent by post by th organization.

> WHERE DO I PICK UP MY BIB ?

> CLOACKROOM
When the runners pick up their bib, a plastic bag for the cloackroom will be dispatch to them as well as a sticker to mention on their race number. Every plastic bag will be delayed in the cloackroom area on the start area in Nice. The organization staff will be responsable to route the plastic bags towards the arrival area in Cannes. Every plastic bag for the cloackroom will be delivered to all the runners with their bib.

Be caution : Only “the plastic bag” delivered by the organization staff will be accepted in the cloackroom area.

> COMFORT IN THE RACE

- Food stations : All the runners will benefit from 8 food stations located every 5 km on the course including a final one in Cannes after the finish line.

> TRANSPORT OF THE RUNNERS
Start and finish lines are located close to train stations as well as the totality of the course.
The organization staff highly recommand you to use the train as transport mean on the D Day to link the start area in Nice or your accomodation place after the arrival.
