To be detected on the timing mat, be careful to:

  • Do not fold your bib
  • Do not remove the strick
  • To put your bib on your chest

We would like to remind you that your race number (regardless of the distance run) will be used as your ticket to take for free rail travel between Nice and Cannes (in both directions) on Marathon des Alpes-Maritimes Nice-Cannes race. Please make sure you keep your race number after the race if you want to use the train free of charge after the marathon, as you will be asked to show it as proof of transport.

IMPORTANT : For the return journey to Cannes station, please note that there will certainly be a waiting time to catch the train and we remind you that bicycles are strictly forbidden on board.

Thanks to our partnership with , your relatives will be able to take advantage of a special travel offer on the day of the marathon to use the train between Nice and Cannes to meet you on the course. We advise you not to follow the race on bicycles or any other means of transport, as some sections of the route are not suitable for this purpose and may cause problems for the runners. This companion travel offer will be on sale at the partners' expo in Nice on the TRAIN booth or at stations along the route between Nice and Cannes or online at the website.

The entire route is along the sea and close to train stations. Your friends and family will be able to cheer you on throughout the race at each relay point (» see relay point locations HERE) but here's what we recommend:

* At the start in Nice, a secure area will be set up around the start area, so access will only be authorised to runners with their race numbers, but don't worry, your family and friends will be able to see you at the start behind the barriers set up around the start area.

* As far as the route is concerned, we strongly recommend that accompanying persons get off at Juan-les-Pins station and avoid getting off at Villeneuve-Loubet station (which is a small station in terms of capacity) to give priority to the runners (relay and 20km runners) and avoid overloading the station unnecessarily.

* At the finish area in Cannes, a meeting zone will be set up after the finish area so that you can meet up with your relatives ones. All you have to do is to find each other by the alphabetical letter of your name.

For safety reasons, you can run with only one headphone.
