Relay Marathon : Now, you can choose your own formula to experience the best of the French Riviera Marathon Nice-Cannes from 3 to 10,8 km!
The runners from Relay Marathon will run on the same route as the marathon runners. The formula of the Relay Marathon proposes 5 relay points on the route. The transmission of the relay baton by the team will have to be done on these 5 relay points or the team could face disqualification:
Relay 1 situation » Saint-Laurent-du-Var > located to km 8.7 on the route
Relay 2 situation » Cagnes-sur-Mer > located to km 11.7 on the route
Relay 3 situation » Villeneuve-Loubet > located to km 16.8 on the route
Relay 4 situation » Antibes Juan-les-Pins > located to km 25.3 on the route
Relay 5 situation » Vallauris Golfe-Juan > located to km 36.1 on the route
Distances between each relay:
From Nice to Saint-Laurent-du-Var: 8,7 km
From Saint-Laurent-du-Var to Cagnes-sur-Mer: 3 km
From Cagnes-sur-Mer to Villeneuve-Loubet: 5,1 km
From Villeneuve-Loubet to Antibes Juan-les-Pins: 8,5 km
From Antibes Juan-les-Pins to Vallauris Golfe-Juan: 10,8 km
From Vallauris Golfe-Juan to Cannes: 6 km
When you collect your racenumber, every team will get one own bib per runner (to carry it on the back) and an additional bib will be provided to the team with a built-in timing chip and it will work as a relay baton.
You can choose the composition of your team : 3/4/5 or 6 runners, you select your team but you have to run on the existing relay points only once.
It will be forbidden for the runners to run one relay then stop and then run another time further on the route.
The Relay Marathon is open to all runners borned:
